Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

Support the school's aims, ethos, and maintain professionalism Manage daily attendance registers, message folders, homework checks, and pupil records Assist with implementing daily programmes and provide individual pupil support Handle administrative tasks, including photocopying, typing, worksheets, laminating and filing Set up and operate instructional equipment (audio/visual aids, computers, smartboards) Supervise learners during bathroom breaks, outdoor activities, and out-of-class events Set up outdoor activities and maintain classroom cleanliness (smartboards, erasers, tidying) Conduct roll calls and ensure health and safety during excursions Follow the teacher's instructions and perform other tasks as qualified Treat everyone with dignity and respect, inspire learning, and maintain strict confidentiality

Duties and Responsibilities

Core Duties:

Supervise children during arrival, break times, dismissal, and transitions between activities Set up and pack away learning areas, play spaces, and materials Support classroom management and assist with distribution of learning materials Provide individual learning support to students (guide and encourage, not complete work) Accompany students to specialist lessons and activities Monitor bathroom routines and supervise changing for swimming Maintain classroom cleanliness: sanitize tables, wash equipment, organize materials Complete photocopying and administrative tasks as directed by teacher * Ensure student safety at all times both indoors and outdoors
