The requirements for this position are:
A suitable, appropriate, professional qualification, with at least 5 years educational experience, particularly in teaching Grade 3-7 Sesotho
A sound and progressive understanding of the South African curriculum and international trends in education
A passion for teaching and ability to contribute significantly to our extramural programme
The ability to foster and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, particularly parents on campus
An ability to be flexible, innovative and embrace change in a fast-paced education environment
Computer literacy and experience in integrating IT into your teaching and learning
A fundamentally future-orientated approach to teaching and learning in the girls' school environment
An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team; including synergising with our other schools on campus
A commitment to on-going personal and professional development.
An awareness of the nature of the school and willingness to commit to its all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach which often occurs outside of school hours
Ability to promote and embrace diversity and inclusion in alignment with the St Stithians College Strategy
