A family is looking for a GOVERNESS for their 2 boys

Child's Age:

Grade 11 - Subjects: Maths Lit, Tourism, Business Studies, Life Orientation, English and Afrikaans (17 years old - ADHD) and Grade 9 (14 years old) - Boys

Child's Neurodivergence Snapshot:

17 year old isDiabetic - medicated for both ADHD and Diabetes. Loses focus easily, works well with regular breaks, he is very calm and chilled.

Support Style:

Grade 11 does see a psychologist and a psychiatrist.

Duties:

Drop Grade 11 at school, manage the household during the day including assist the family business with administrate duties, manage household staff, grocery shopping, preparing and cooking meals for the family,manage the pets and all other takes related to the home. Collect both boys from school, main focus is on the Grade 11 student. Oversee and assist with homework, assist with exam and test preparation, ensure he understands his work and bridging any gaps.

Special Requirements:

Someone who is fluent in English and Afrikaans would be highly advantageous. A qualified teacher would be advantageous too, or someone with many years' experience. We want someone who sees this as a career and not just a part-time gig while they are studying. We need someone mature, capable of working independently and is on the ball with tasks.

Salary:

R25 000 - R30 000pm - dependent on experience and qualifications (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
