About the Role

We are seeking a

highly experienced Golf Cart Service Technician

to join our team. This is a

senior position

requiring at least

8 years of relevant industry experience

. You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, refurbishing, and modifying golf carts to

exceptional standards of quality and reliability

.

We need someone who can

hit the ground running

, managing multiple jobs efficiently while producing

high-quality technical work

with a fine attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Service and maintain golf carts both

on-site and in the workshop

. Perform

fault finding and diagnostics

on mechanical and electrical systems. Prepare

informed and detailed job cards

to support accurate quoting and technical record-keeping. Refurbish golf carts to high standards, ensuring reliability and aesthetics. Complete

custom and standard modifications

to meet client requirements. Operate a broad range of

hand and power tools

(cutting, grinding, etc.). Perform

metal welding

as needed for structural repairs or modifications. Assist in the

assembly and build-up of golf carts

when required. Follow workshop procedures and use workshop software to manage jobs efficiently.

Requirements

Minimum

8 years experience

in golf cart servicing, small vehicle mechanics, or a directly related field.

Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills

, with proven fault-finding capabilities. Ability to produce

reliable, accurate job cards and technical reports

. Skilled in the safe use of

hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

. Valid

driver's licence (Code 8 essential; Code 10 preferred)

. Professional, honest, and respectful, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and improve daily. Smart, adaptive, and capable of working

independently with minimal supervision

. Energetic, hardworking, and enthusiastic about delivering

high-quality workmanship

. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to complete jobs

timeously and reliably

Qualifications:

Matric; technical degree or certification in small engine repair or related field is a plus. Proven experience as a golf cart technician or similar role. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: R25000,00 per month
