R70k - R90k Monthly (Market related)
My client, based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, is looking for a skilled GM in Manufacturing to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement in their facilities. This role will oversee inbound logistics, material management, storage and production and will drive operational excellence and embed world class standards.
Experience required:
- Degree (Industrial Engineer, Engineer, Logistics etc)
- Proven management skills and experience in FMCG, pharma or cosmetics complex manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable of GMP, regulatory and quality standards
- Skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and data driven decision making
- ERP/WMS systems proficiency
- Strong commercial / business acumen
- Solid problem solving and systems-thinking mindset
- Ability to instill a culture of continuous improvement, resilience and adaptability
- Deliver on production targets through efficiency, quality and yield improvement
- Embed Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies to reduce waste and cost
- Champion innovation in processes, systems and technology
- Drive world-class standards in quality, safety and production efficiency
- Safeguard compliance, mitigate operational risks and maintain stock integrity
