GM required for a game lodge in the Limpopo province R30,000-R35,000
POSITION As the Resident Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations with a hands-on approach and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with various departments to drive revenue, manage expenses, and enhance guest satisfaction. Your exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and customer-focused approach will be crucial in achieving our goals and maintaining its reputation as a premier destination. xe2x80x93 Provide strategic direction and vision for the Lodge, aligning it with company objectives. xe2x80x93 Oversee daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, Safari, Retail, Spa and maintenance. xe2x80x93 Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize revenue generation, occupancy rates, and overall profitability. xe2x80x93 Foster a positive work environment and lead a diverse team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. xe2x80x93 Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards. xe2x80x93 Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and business partners to enhance the Lodgexe2x80x99s reputation and drive customer loyalty. xe2x80x93 Monitor guest feedback and take proactive measures to address any issues, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for all guests. xe2x80x93 Analyse financial reports, control costs, and prepare budgets to achieve financial targets. REQUIREMENTS xe2x80x93 Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and make informed decisions. xe2x80x93 Minimum of 5 years of experience as General Manager or Resident Manager, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Food and Beverage. xe2x80x93 Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. xe2x80x93 Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals. xe2x80x93 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. xe2x80x93 Sound knowledge of hotel financials, revenue management, and budgeting. xe2x80x93 Proficient in industry-specific software and systems. xe2x80x93 Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred).   • Salary: R30K to R35K CTC MAX (dependent on calibre of candidate)
  • Position is live in & meals are provided when on duty

  • Valid RSA ID is required
  • Valid Driverxe2x80x99s Licence required
  • Proven track record within a luxury hotel/lodge environment as per attached spec
  • Candidates must be available for interview at our Jhb Offices in Bryanston
  • Due to the nature of the environment pets are not allowed due to free roaming wildlife
Due to proximity to local schools it is preferred the candidate does not have school going children
