Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Global Payroll and Mobility Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management and global mobility programs, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing while also facilitating smooth employee mobility across different regions. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of international payroll regulations and mobility practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management:

- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes for multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements.

- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and local teams to gather and validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, benefits, and compensation changes.

- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and employment laws.

- Handle complex payroll scenarios, such as expatriate and inpatriate assignments, shadow payroll, and cross-border payments.

2. Global Mobility:

- Develop and manage global mobility policies, processes, and guidelines to support employees international assignments and transfers.

- Provide guidance to employees and managers on visa and work authorization requirements, tax implications, and cultural considerations for international assignments.

- Collaborate with external vendors, such as immigration consultants and tax advisors, to ensure compliant mobility processes.

- Assist in preparing assignment letters, relocation packages, and other documentation related to global mobility.

3. Compliance and Regulations:

- Stay up-to-date with international labor laws, tax regulations, and immigration policies that impact payroll and mobility.

- Ensure payroll practices adhere to local statutory requirements and tax regulations in various countries.

- Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and update policies and practices accordingly.

4.Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Generate and analyze payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.

- Prepare management reports, payroll summaries, and metrics related to global mobility initiatives.

- Identify trends and issues in payroll and mobility data, proposing improvements and solutions.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of payroll and mobility processes.

- Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on payroll and mobility matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) and global mobility (e.g., Global Mobility Specialist) are advantageous.

- Proven experience (X years) in global payroll management, international mobility, or related fields.

- Strong understanding of international payroll regulations, tax implications, and labor laws.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex data sets.

- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems. Experience with global payroll platforms is a plus.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate and resolve complex payroll and mobility issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters degree in a relevant field.

- Previous experience with project management related to payroll system implementations or process improvements.
