We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town
Role: Geotechnical Engineer
Industry: Civil Engineering / Geotechnical Consulting
Level: Junior to Mid-Level (6 months - 2 years experience)
Key Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering (MSc in Geotechnical Engineering advantageous)
- 6 months to 2 years' experience in geotechnical investigation and design work
- Excellent knowledge of geotechnical investigation development and implementation
- Strong technical skills in applying scientific principles to solve geotechnical problems
- Experience with geotechnical field monitoring and assessment interpretation
- Ability to prepare accurate technical deliverables (reports, drawings, designs)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel internationally for project requirements
- Commitment to achieving professional chartership
- Decisive - Strong prioritization skills with focus on accountability and results
