The main purpose of this position is to ensure the secure transportation of goods, staff and participants to and from the required destination as well as assist with general duties. Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Code 08 - 14 with PDP license and certification
  • At least 2-5 years' experience as a driver
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Be tactful and respectful
  • To be mindful of confidentiality
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with teams and independently
  • Good planning and organizing
  • Time management
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends (if required)
Responsibilities:
  • Site Caretaker/Maintenance
  • Transportation of Goods / Staff/ participants
  • Maintenance of Vehicle
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by head line manager
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Adhere to driver policy
  • Report any security related issues to line manager
  • Respond to all security alerts at site
