Our clients include multinationals and SMEs, governments, non-governmental organisations, supra-nationals, and non-governmental organisations.Role Summary:The Surgeon is responsible for managing patient care before, during, and after surgery within a multidisciplinary clinical team. Additionally, the Surgeon will provide clinical leadership within surgical facilities, supporting the Regional Medical Director.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform surgical interventions, including damage control surgery and emergency procedures, to deliver life, limb, and function-saving treatment.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, specialists, and other medical staff.
  • Recognize and document medical conditions and surgical risks.
  • Stabilize and support casualties before evacuation by air or land, in collaboration with the ER clinical team if required.
  • Liaise with other medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Ensure all medical records are properly maintained.
  • Provide clinical reporting.
  • Support clinical mentoring for staff development.
  • Ensure best practices in line with clinical guidelines and SOPs.
  • Support the clinical excellence framework under the direction of the Regional Medical Director.

  • A University Degree in Medicine with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • A specialist qualification and/or formal education in Surgery.
  • Up-to-date clinical knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in surgical procedures.
Essential Capabilities:
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under high-stress conditions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including both clinical and non-clinical personnel.
