Job Description

Haveitnext is seeking a reliable and responsible operations driver to join our team in Durban. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting personnel and materials across the city, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation:

Safely operate company vehicle, ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo Manage daily routes across Durban efficiently Maintain a neat and clean vehicle interior and exterior

Delivery and Coordination:

Pick up and deliver materials and equipment as assigned Ensure accurate and timely delivery to designated locations Assist with loading and offloading when required

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance checks, including oil, tires, brakes, and fluid levels Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly Keep the vehicle roadworthy and presentable

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities Keep track of receipts and expenses related to vehicle use

Compliance:

Comply with all traffic laws and regulations Maintain a clean driving record Follow safety procedures and protocols

Communication:

Communicate effectively with management regarding transportation schedules and any issues Good with following navigation (Google Maps)

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license (Code 08 minimum) with a clean driving record Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a service-oriented environment Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Strong time management skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads when loading and unloading materials

Additional Information:

This position may require working flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate business needs Available to start training 27 January 2026
