Job Description

Our large, centrally located restaurant is looking for someone with deep restaurant management experience to be the "face of the place". They should know and understand what it takes to manage the F.O.H. and liaise with chef on the B.O.H. The General Manager will be leading the team and managing the daily operation of the business.

Responsibilities



Provide leadership and direction to the entire restaurant team Excellent customer facing skills including event planning and execution Maintain and improve staff engagement through constant training Manage day-to-day operations and improve profitability of the business Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure product integrity and business continuity Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and strategic partners Reduce inefficiencies and improve food & beverage wastage percentages

Qualifications



Management and Customer Service experience Strong administrative skills Demonstrated ability to lead Strong communications skills Superior wine knowledge
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R25000,00 - R35000,00 per month

Stellenbosch, Western Cape 7600: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
