We are recruiting an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead a luxury boutique hotel in t Somerset West. This is a senior leadership role suited to a hands-on hospitality professional with a strong Food & Beverage background and a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the hotel
Drive exceptional service standards across all departments, with a particular focus on Food & Beverage excellence
Manage and optimise hotel budgets, forecasting, stock control and financial performance
Lead, motivate and develop department heads and staff to create a high-performance culture
Oversee all F&B operations including restaurant, bar, menus, service quality and supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with all health & safety, hygiene and statutory regulations
Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers and local partners
Identify opportunities to grow revenue through events, functions and innovative F&B offerings
Requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hotel manager within a luxury or boutique hospitality environment
Strong Food & Beverage background is essential
Sound financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and revenue management
Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
A hands-on, service-driven approach with a passion for hospitality
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
