Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a General Manager to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall mining operations to ensure production targets and safety standards are met
- Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance of the mine
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and processing
- Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and health & safety regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships with communities, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company objectives
- Grade 12
- BSc Degree/BTech Degree in Mining Engineering
- Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
- 10 - 15 years' experience in the mining industry
- 5 years' experience in a Management Role.
- Master's Degree in Mining Engineering (Advantageous)
- MBA/MBL (Advantageous)
- Salary: Negotiable
