Vacancy: General Manager - Citrus / Packhouse / Processing
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and management to the packhouse operations.
• Drive operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Oversee production, post-harvest processes, and export standards within the citrus industry.
• Lead and develop a diverse operational team, promoting a positive work environment.
• Implement effective people management strategies to enhance team performance.
• Make informed decisions concerning business operations, supply chain, and human relations.
• Engage in multilevel negotiations and maintain effective communication across the organization.
• Develop and execute structured plans to meet operational and strategic goals.
• Foster a culture of excellence in a high-volume and fast-paced work environment.

Essential Qualifications:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic and general management role, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Proven experience in a senior management position within a packhouse or similar processing environment.

Desired Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of the citrus industry, including production and post-harvest processes.
• Strong decision-making capabilities regarding both macro and micro business issues.
• Ability to implement operational strategies effectively, maintaining a strong focus on results.
• Demonstrated excellence in leadership, team development, and people management across diverse operational teams.
• Strong agribusiness acumen with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency.

Salary & Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: Between R70,000 and R85,000, based on qualifications and experience.
• Potential for additional benefits based on company policies.
