Job Description


Our client boasts 2 decades of success providing real estate services both nationally and internationally. Leveraging technology and well-thought-out hiring decisions, they provide A-class cleaning, hygiene, parking, and security services to well-recognized and established companies. They are looking for a strategic General Manager who will be heading up the cleaning services department. With a staff complement of 3,000, the successful incumbent will have stellar leadership skills, guiding the Regional Managers based in Cape Town and Durban and acting as a Regional Manager themselves for Gauteng.

For this position you will be running all the aspects of the division, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage client and stakeholder interaction.
  • Ensure service delivery in relation to Service Level Agreements.
  • Turn leads brought on by the Business Development team into deals.
  • Interact with the Key Account Managers on all reconciliation and items impacted by Operations.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets and cost projections.
  • Act as a functional leader for developing operations management, and service talent.
In your career arsenal will be a relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Business Management or Finance, coupled with 10 years' experience within the property / facilities services space. It is essential that you have business management experience leading a division which generates more than R150million in annual turnover.
