Bootlegger Coffee Company is looking for an experienced, driven, and hands-on

General Manager

to lead one of our busy CBD stores. This role is ideal for a strong operator with proven leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Full operational management of the store Leading, motivating, and developing the management and store team Driving sales performance while controlling costs and maintaining margins Ensuring excellent customer experience and consistent brand standards Staff scheduling, timekeeping, and labour optimisation Training, coaching, and performance management of staff Stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage Ensuring compliance with health & safety, company policies, and procedures Handling customer feedback, complaints, and day-to-day problem solving Working closely with senior management and head office teams

Requirements

Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Store Manager in hospitality (coffee / restaurant experience essential) Strong leadership and people-management skills Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Solid understanding of cost control, COS%, and labour management Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-driven attitude Strong communication skills Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
