The exclusivity of this remote luxury retreat is one of the main attractions for overseas guests and the attention to detail, service and culinary standards are considered to be among the top 10 anywhere in Africa. We are in search of a highly skilled and talented GENERAL MANAGER / LODGE MANAGER whose partner / wife is equally skilled as a FOOD & BEVERAGE & FRONT OF HOUSE Specialist REQUIREMENTS for the GENERAL MANAGER / LODGE MANAGER Formal Hospitality Management Qualification with at least 8 - 10 years' experience within a 5* luxury game lodge / boutique hotel Excellent management abilities in motivating, directing and leading a quality team Exceptional attention to detail and finesse in seeing the finer touches needed Sound business acumen and strengths in budget planning and forecasting Exceptional people skills with the ability to deal with staff and guests with ease
REQUIREMENTS for the FOOD & BEVERAGE / FRONT OF HOUSE SPECIALIST Tertiary qualification in Hospitality / Hotel Management with at least 5 - 8 years within a 5* Lodge or fine dining Top 10 Eat Out type establishment A good knowledge of various styles of local and international cuisine An excellent understanding of cocktails, local wines, beers, spirits, and coffee Highly proficient in Inventory Control High proficiency and adaptability in providing world-class customer experience to a very broad demographic of guests Excellent skills in managing and developing people, driving excellence and quality service with attention to detail at all times
