General Logistics Controller
Job Description
The successful candidate must be dynamic and proactive, with high skill levels and competencies. Duties include, but are not limited to: Manage tools and consumables stores Maintain proper stores control procedures Supervise and co-ordinate transport, including driver allocation Ensure legal compliance and maintenance of total Durban fleet Accident investigation, reporting and insurance claims Supervise yard security and liaise with service provider REQUIREMENTS A relevant tertiary education will be an advantage Minimum 10+ years experience in a similar position Must be in possession of a valid, unendorsed drivers licence Strong administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail Excellent verbal & written communication skills Computer skills : MS Office incl Excel High level of quality and detail orientation
