General Insurance Actuarial Manager

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead actuarial projects in pricing, reserving, capital modelling, and IFRS 17.
- Develop and implement advanced statistical and actuarial models.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Minimum 7 years in short-term insurance, pricing, reserving, or capital modelling.
- Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary.
- Project management and leadership experience advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAM, ORSA, solvency calculations, valuations, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python for statistical modelling (advantageous).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide clear progress updates.
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
