Job Description
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations:
1. Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules
2. Reviews job orders to determine work priorities
3. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
4. Keep maintenance logs and Prepare activity reports and work order reports
5. Attend to major breakdowns and minimise downtime of critical equipment and facilities.
6. Repairs of building interiors and exteriors
7. Repairs of finishing, ceilings, flooring and roofing
8. Repairs to appliances including stoves, refrigerators etc
9. Repairs electrical controls, wiring and lighting systems
10. Troubleshoots electrical issues using standard practices as per IEE regulations
11. Avails self for the Facility Ops Rota by being a member of the Maintenance Team
12. Trains students on attachment on housekeeping, trouble shooting and various electrical activities
Skills
1. First Aid and CPR
2. Inspection procedures
3. Mechanical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and electrical systems
4. Bylaws and procedures
Experience
3 years relevant experience
