General Factory Assistant – Roller Blinds & Shutters

Job Description
Silver Edge Shutters is a well-established, family-run manufacturer of roller blinds, drop awnings and shutters in George. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on General Factory Assistant to join our small team immediately.
Your daily tasks will include:
Cutting aluminium tubes to size Stock taking and basic inventory control Assembly and quality checking of roller blinds and drop awnings General factory assistance (packing, cleaning, loading, helping where needed) Operating basic hand and power tools safely Keeping the workspace neat and organised
Requirements - you MUST have:
Matric / Grade 12 Afrikaans and English Sober habits and reliable transport to George Central Comfortable and safe using basic tools (drills, cutters, etc.) Clear criminal record (police clearance certificate will be required) Physically fit - some lifting and standing involved
Advantageous:
Previous factory / manufacturing experience Experience with blinds, curtains or aluminium products
We offer:

Working hours
Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00 + occasional Saturday overtime
