The main responsibility of this position is to keep the production plant area clean according to the Food Safety standards.
Responsibilities
--------------------
Connect lines as per operator instructions. Handling of tonsil and carbon Sampling of crude and final oils. Capture on the lab system for analyses. Assist in making blends. Measuring of crude and final oil tanks. Replace filter bags. Report deviations in filter bags to the refinery operator/Production Manager Report all defects on plant to the refinery operator/Production Manager Clean filters by using scrapers. Remove disposed tonsil from plate and frame filters to skids, empty trollies by use of spade. Housekeeping: Cleaning of all plant equipment, plant area and walkways.
Health and Safety
Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives
/ management
Report all safety incidents to the relevant people Attend safety education and refresher programmes Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill Distribute safety information as and when required Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times

Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent Production plant experience
