Duties & Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks in kitchens, canteens, dining areas, and other assigned spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitise floors, surfaces, and equipment. Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices. Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages promptly. Follow strict hygiene protocols and Health & Safety regulations. Assist with basic food service duties when required (e.g., serving tea or clearing tables). Support the implementation of cleaning schedules and checklists. Report any maintenance issues or hazards immediately. Maintain professional appearance and behaviour at all times.

Skills and Competencies

Attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills (English essential; additional language an advantage). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow Health & Safety procedures and cleaning schedules. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment. Understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks Previous experience in cleaning environment (catering or hospitality preferred).

Qualifications
