Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a professional and vibrant General Assistant for a hotel in the Beautiful Rorkexe2x80x99s Drift Area. The successful candidates will need experience in similar roles. They would have to be able handle the overall running of all reception duties and give a helping hand to other departments. The salary is R 6000.00 DOE. The package is on a full-time, live-in basis. The work cycle is 3 weeks on with 7 days off a month and 15 days annual leave after 1 year.
Job Duties:
- Welcome Guests
- Coordinate front desk activities
- Answering the Telephone
- Handling Reservations
- Guest Services
Personal Characteristics:
- Must Be Fluent in English And Have Excellent People Skills
- Pleasant Personality
- Dynamic Professional Attitude.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Passionate About Guest Satisfaction and Maintaining High Levels Of Service
- Excellent Grooming Standards
Requirements:
- 1 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Hospitality Industry
- Thorough knowledge of guest service, office management and stock control
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Firm leadership skills
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time
- The ability to perform under pressure
- Must be highly motivated
- Highly presentable, no visible tattoos or piercings apart from ears
