This is a part-time coaching position. The coach will be paid per session at a fixed rate according to their expertise and coaching level. The Girls' College invites applications for the position mentioned above, which will be available from 1 January 2026. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills and competencies to take on this position.
The requirements for this position are:
Daily training as well as tours and camps
Coaching and management of a water polo team
Working with other water polo and swimming coaches
Individual and holistic development of students as social and high-level athletes
The ideal candidate should have:
Enthusiasm and passion for the sport
1st team playing experience for at least 2 years
Coaching experience is not a prerequisite, but is an advantage
A minimum of 3 years playing experience at senior school and/or provincial level
A high level of personal water polo playing or coaching experience in university and/or club environment is preferred
An awareness of the nature of the school and willingness to commit to its all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach
