Job Description
An interesting opportunity for a technical, competent Garment Technologist with at least 3 years' experience in Women's, Men's or Kidswear.
Responsibilities
- Manage the process from initial samples through to production.
- Work closely with Buyers to support product development.
- Oversee and mentor suppliers on technical standards, quality, and fit.
- Monitor compliance with regulations, standards, and legislation.
- Evaluate suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and report findings.
Qualifications: Fashion Technical Degree/Diploma from a reputable Institution.
Experience: 3+ years in a similar role.
Additional: o Strong knowledge of fabric, patternmaking, grading, and fit. o Solid understanding of QA standards and garment manufacturing. o Ability to manage workload, suppliers, and fit trials effectively. o Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
