Job Summary Company Description Wetlands Game Lodge is a privately-owned lodge located in Wakkerstroom, Mpumalanga. The lodge offers a range of accommodation options and is situated within a game reserve that supports various wildlife and bird species. In addition to its core focus on hospitality and conservation, Wetlands Game Lodge hosts weddings, corporate events, and group retreats. On-site facilities include a spa, a restaurant, and outdoor activities such as game drives, trout fishing, guided walks, and bird watching. Role Description This is a full-time on-site position as a Lodge Manager located in Wakkerstroom, Mpumalanga. The Lodge Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, guest services, staff management, budgeting, training, overseeing food & beverage offerings and general maintenance of the lodge. Skills o Customer Service skills o Budgeting and Training skills o Experience in Food & Beverage management o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment o Strong Leadership o Team Management o Excellent Interpersonal Skills o Excellent Communication o Organizational o Problem-solving Abilities o Knowledgeable in Game and wildlife Experience o Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Lodge Manager or Game Lodge Manager. o Experience in staff management o Proficient in MS Office, POS systems & PMS Qualifications Diploma or Degree in either: o Hospitality Management o Hotel Management o Game Lodge Management Benefits On-site housing (water and lights included).
