We are looking for a fundraising coordinator who will support the organisation's fundraising strategy through proactive revenue generation, donor relations, and innovative fundraising initiatives. This role includes coordinating donor engagement activities, assisting with campaign planning and execution, supporting proposal development, tracking income targets, and helping secure sustainable funding from diverse sources such as major donors, corporates, and grants.
The role requires excellent communication skills, relationship-building ability, strategic thinking, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a dynamic non-profit environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK
Fundraising & Donor Relations

Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns across multiple channels.
?
Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring regular updates, acknowledgements, and personalised engagement.
?
Coordinate donor retention and stewardship activities to ensure long-term support.
Assist in developing donor presentations, reports, and proposals.
Revenue Growth & Pipeline Development
?
Research and identify new funding opportunities, including major donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making institutions.
Build and manage donor pipelines to track potential and secured income.
?
Monitor income targets and fundraising performance against KPIs.
?
Innovate new ways to increase donor acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Campaign & Event Coordination
?
Assist in the planning and coordination of fundraising events and initiatives.
?
Work with internal teams to ensure events and campaigns align with organisational objectives.
Track and report on campaign results, providing insights for improvement.
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
?
Support the Fundraising and Marketing Manager in day-to-day fundraising operations.
?
Collaborate with the marketing team to align fundraising campaigns with communication strategies.
?
Maintain accurate donor records, databases, and reports.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting standards.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
?
Knowledge of sales/fundraising principles, donor engagement, and revenue generation.
?
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
?
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and report writing.
?
Organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
?
Analytical mindset for tracking income and campaign performance.
?
Creativity and innovation in developing sales/fundraising initiatives.
?
Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising tools.
?
Professional conduct and ability to represent the organisation externally.
Experience in the non-profit sector is an advantage.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
?
A bachelor's degree in Sales, Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, Business, Development Studies, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in fundraising, donor relations, or business development (preferably within the NGO/non-profit sector).
