The Fund Administrator for Reconciliations- EFT is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely administration of EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) transactions of cash flows and fund movements across client and internal accounts. This role supports the integrity of financial operations by identifying, investigating, and resolving payment and reconciliation breaks, thereby protecting both client and organisational assets.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing
+ Daily/Weekly/Monthly processing of EFT payments on behalf of clients
+ Ensuring timely transfers in accordance with banking cutoff and adhering to deadlines and internal controls
+ Maintaining accurate records of all transactions
+ Accurate categorization of breaks
+ Identify and investigate all team-related breaks, discrepancies, and exceptions, ensuring prompt resolution.
+ Resolutions and/or escalation and follow up all non-team specific breaks as per procedure.
Reporting
+ Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and End of Day reports to internal teams and management.
+ Ensuring that the Team Leader/Manager is informed of any outstanding issues.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
+ Maintain full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
+ Ensure adherence to operational controls and audit requirements, maintaining evidence and audit trails.
+ Support internal and external audit processes with reconciliation-related documentation and responses.
+ Identify potential risk areas in day-to-day operations and escalate them to management for further assessment.

Education & Experience:
Tertiary Financial Qualification with an accounting background.
1-3 years' experience in financial services (investment management) industry
Knowledge of Financial Markets and Instruments
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
