MAIN PURPOSE
OF THE JOB
Responsible for the administration of the Third Party funds that have been contracted by the Bank with Funders and Partners as per relevant agreements. Responsible for ensuring that the key outcomes and results of the Third Party Funds are reported upon according to specifications. Perform the administration for the funds under control to ensure quality delivery while meeting the expectations of all stakeholders. Responsible for the execution of and relationship management for existing and new Third Party Funds and funding lines that have already been contracted by the Bank with Funders and Partners, as applicable. Ensure appropriate liaison with Funders and Land Bank Management. Ensure project implementation according to agreed terms and conditions with Funders. Support the internal Land Bank teams with administrative and co-ordination tasks.
Key Performance Areas
1. Funds Administration and Record Management
Preparation of Contractual Agreements
Support Legal with preparation of funding contracts as per agreed terms and conditions.
Contribute to the negotiation of administration fees and terms and conditions of contracts.
Ensure compliance of contracts to policy and procedure.Support with the process towards the acceptance / signoff by all Stakeholders.
Facilitation of Fund/s
Liaise with relevant Business Units and Partners to ensure processes are efficiently managed with a view to continuous improvement and Stakeholder satisfaction.
Records Management
Maintain sound record management for the Third Party Funds unit
2. Fund Reporting
Source relevant information from applicable sources for Third Party Funds on a monthly and quarterly bases or on a ad hoc basis.
Verify information for correctness.
Provide reports to the relevant stakeholders including for audit purposes
Drive the audit process of the funds where required.
Support the audit process of Land Bank AFS as relates to third party funding.
Ensuring the funds are managed as agreed with the funders.
3. Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build, foster and maintain effective relationships with partners.
Provide support to external and internal stakeholders in their utilisation of the different funds.
Engagement with the Bank's various internal divisions to create an enabling environment for the utilisation of the funds.
Supporting key stakeholders with information as and when requested.
Preferred Minimum Education and Experience
Relevant B-Degree
or
NQF level 6 qualification in one of the following areas of specialisation- Accounting / Finance / Banking
Degree in Agriculture
3-5 years Banking / Finance/ Funds Administration at Senior Level
2 years Exposure to Project Management
3-5 years Relationship development and management of Key Stakeholders
Critical Competencies

Relevant legislative frameworks such as PFMA, NCA etc.
