Job Summary: As a Full Stack Software Developer at Zimi, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing our cutting-edge energy, carbon, and payments system for electric vehicles. This role involves leading the technical direction of the product, architecting solutions, and building a dynamic team of software engineers. You will work with the FARM stack (FastAPI, React, and MongoDB) on the AWS platform to drive innovation and contribute to Zimi's mission of sustainability. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architecture and design of our energy, carbon, and payments system for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems. - Build and mentor a team of skilled software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. - Drive the development and optimization of our software products to meet performance and scalability goals. - Contribute to code reviews, quality assurance, and best practices. Qualifications and Requirements: - Min 6 years XP in software development - Strong proficiency in Python is essential. - Experience with FastAPI, React, and MongoDB is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with NoSQL frameworks. - Proven experience in software architecture and design. - Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment. - OCPP or OPCI protocol familiarity is a plus - South African citizen and ability to work on-site at office in Stellenbosch Salary Range Competitive salary and share options are available, commensurate with experience and skills.
