Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Senior).
This role is pivotal in providing cutting-edge IT solutions to global operations while ensuring the seamless integration and management of the Digital Checkout Solution (DCS) and Vehicle Trade-In sub-products within the Group IT Hub.

Position Details:
Contract Duration: 01 March 2026 - 31 December 2028
Commencement Date: 01 March 2026
Location: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation
Experience Required: 6+ years in professional software development with a heavy focus on frontend Angular and Typescript integration.
Product / Team Context: You will be working on the Digital Checkout Solution (DCS) and Vehicle Trade-In sub-products. This role requires more than just coding; it involves assisting with the business case, translating and simplifying requirements, and bridging the gap between development and support environments to ensure a seamless vehicle trade-in experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
IT Degree and/or relevant technical qualifications
6+ years of professional development experience
Expertise in on-premise virtualization technology
Proven experience in both manual and automated testing
Essential Skills & Technologies:
Frontend Mastery: Deep proficiency in Angular 10+, Typescript, HTML/CSS, and Web Components.
Backend/Java Stack: Java 11, J2EE, JAX-RS, JPA, JTA, ORM, and Maven.
Data & Testing: SQL Queries and optimization, PostgreSQL, Flyway, and Karma/Jasmine.
Tools & DevOps: GitHub Actions, GitHub, Jira/Confluence, and X-Ray.
Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, processing, and management within an Agile Working Model (AWM).
Advantageous Skills:
Strong understanding of integration between disparate technologies.
Proven ability to plan and monitor technical deliverables effectively.
High level of adaptability to perform diverse tasks under the Agile Charter.
Excellent communication skills to simplify technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Stack Development: Build and maintain high-quality applications with a heavy focus on the Angular frontend.
Technical Analysis: Document requirements in appropriate formats and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Support Coordination: Coordinate between development and support environments to ensure system stability.
Quality Assurance: Execute Unit tests and ensure high-standard code quality through Jira and X-Ray.
Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the overarching success of the DCS and Vehicle Trade-In products.
