Our client in the IT industry is currently looking for a Full Stack Developer, in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the technology that drives solutions, with a primary focus on Vue.js, Node.js, and PHP.
• Code development and architecture based on development lead specifications.
• Collaborate with other Developers.
• Collaboration with the Lead Developer and Product Owner.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Vue.js for the front end.
• Build scalable, efficient, and maintainable back-end services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues on both front-end and back-end.
• Work on database design and integration with PHP.
• Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Keep up to date with emerging web technologies and industry trends.

• Language requirements: English.
• BSc Computer Engineering or Computer Science or relevant Software related qualification (advantageous)
• 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience in a similar role.
• Solid experience with PHP 8, MySQL, Sass, Vue.js, Git, REST, Node.js.
• Excellent communication skills in order to both understand the needs of the project but also give feedback to stakeholders and input to other team members.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Design, code and maintain applications using best practices.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of user interfaces.
• Must work well within an Agile Software Development environment.
• Ability to work with an international team with international customers in different time zones.
• Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease.
• Possess proficient analytical and decision-making skills.
