Front-of-House Cashier - Mochachos

Job Summary: Mochachos Durban is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Front-of-House Cashier to join our energetic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, processing orders efficiently, and maintaining the high standards that Mochachos is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system.

Resolve customer queries and escalate concerns only when necessary.

Ensure sufficient stock levels to meet customer demands

Handle cash, card, and third party delivery platform transactions responsibly.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front counter and dining area.

Assist with packaging take-away orders and ensuring timely service.

Uphold Mochachos brand standards in customer service and presentation.

Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Fluent in English is Essential

Previous customer service experience in a fast-food environment is essential.

ONLY Candidates with a Minimum of 3 years experience in the Quick sservice restaurant industry such as Nandos, Pedros, Mochachos, Galitos, KFC, Burger King and McDonald's must apply and will be considered

Ability to work shifts on close i.e. store closes at 9pm

Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Matric certificate (Grade 12)

Excellent communication and people skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with transactions and in handling cash.

Punctual, reliable, and MUST be able to work well under pressure.
