FRONT OFFICE/RECEPTION - DOUGLAS/NORTHERN CAPE - This is an initial contract position, with possibility of becoming permanent, successful Candidate to start as soon as possible
Job Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (matric)
Specialized qualification in Office administration advantageous
Knowledge of local area and community
Proficient in Microsoft office, excel, word and outlook
Previous experience in a customer-facing role (sales, service, or admin)
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with technology and quick to learn internal systems.
Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
Friendly and professional demeanour.
Experience in telecoms, retail, or a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and emails, where necessary directing them to the appropriate staff or department
Greeting visitors and walk-in customers and assisting them with accounts queries, sales sign ups, and connecting with customer support
Assist walk-in customers with account payments and voucher purchases
Managing of office and kitchen supplies
Ensuring office is kept clean, and everything is well-presented to welcome visitors
Oversee cleaning and gardening staff
Performing general office tasks
Stock management for field ops teams and record keeping
Health and safety checks
Assist Fleet with vehicle checks and daily safe task instructions.
Salary: R8,000.00 (negotiable)
