We are seeking a Front Office Team Leader for our Hotel in Pretoria Main duties and responsibilities:
Supervise staff to ensure courteous and efficient welcoming and departure procedures for guests
Must be compliant and well versed in Health and Safety as well as Labour Legislation
Supervise staff with regard to overall work performance and on the job conduct and conduct training needs analysis
Maintain guest assistance and service at the reception area during shift times
Schedule staff duty rosters and supervise the completion of daily administration in accordance with laid down procedure
Oversee adherence to front office control, procedures and reporting requirements as well as the maintenance of data and records on the Front Office System
Deal with front office statistical reports, receiving payments in acceptable forms, check guest folio accounts and calculate rates and discounts
Ensure the periodic printing and recording of contingency reports
Ensure a proper arrival/departure procedure is in place for all daily reservations
Any special needs/requirements to be taken care of thus gaining loyalty and return business
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Grade 12
Previous experience in a similar position in the Hotel Industry
