Answering calls and directing to the relevant team member in the club
Making bookings for events, dinner, lunch, and breakfast.
Initiate and execute revenue generating events.
Always keep the concierge desk neat and tidy.
Never leave the concierge desk unattended, always advice your teammates when going on lunchbreak or to the rest room.
Recognition of members by face and calling them by name.
No using of cellphones while on duty.
The telephone on the desk is not to ring more than 3 times.
Report for duty on time unless you have been excused by senior concierge or members liaison manager.
Inform the doorman at the start of each shift with regards to arrivals of the day
Assist new members or staff with facial recognition.
Handling complaints in a discreet manner and communicating to your superiors
Building good repour with members.
Using initiative and thinking out of the box
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills to effectively deal with clients at all levels and the ability to project a helpful, courteous, and professional image.
Maintain communication on all complaints internally and externally.
Maintain open communication channels with the Concierge team.
Desired Experience & Qualification: To be considered for this role, you should have experience
Matric (Grade 12)
Certificate/ Diploma in Hospitality (advantageous)
Minimum of 2 years Front office experience
Skilled in Microsoft Office Software and Opera
Fluent in English.
Well-presented and well-spoken
Take accountability and be deadline-driven.
Ability to plan and work under pressure.
A valid driver's license and ability to travel to work daily.
