Front Office Manager - Luxury Wine Estate
Franschhoek, Cape Town
A luxury wine estate in the Franschhoek area is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Front Office Manager to oversee the smooth operation of its lodge accommodations. This role requires a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all front office operations, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient service for all guests.
• Lead and train the reception team to provide exceptional guest service and uphold the estate's high standards.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and overall guest satisfaction.
• Monitor booking systems and optimise occupancy rates through effective reservation management.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including processing payments and reconciling accounts.
• Implement and uphold front office policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist in developing guest loyalty initiatives and personalised services to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a front office management role within a luxury hotel or lodge.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Experience working with hotel property management systems and reservations platforms.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• A passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
