Key Responsibilities: * Delight guests with trendsetting and innovative products, providing outstanding service experiences that leave a lasting impression.

  • Ensure strict control of petty cash and float, maintaining meticulous financial records.
  • Set and maintain exceptional front office service standards that elevate guests' experiences to new heights.
  • Conduct regular guest service and standards training sessions, equipping staff to deliver world-class service.
  • Lead and inspire teams, fostering teamwork, personal accountability, and ultimately promoting staff engagement and retention.
  • Manage staff processes, including personal presentation, recruitment, performance, and conduct, to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements:
  • Matric qualification.
  • A hospitality qualification from a recognized South African or International Educational Institution would be advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and fulfill duty management responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including Micros, Opera/Speed Point machine, and MS 365.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market hotel.
  • Demonstrated track record in leading and managing large teams.

  • Impeccable personal presentation and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
  • Strong understanding of hotels, competitors, and the city.
