Job Summary Experienced Front of House Manager required for a high-end, luxury Cocktail & Tapas Bar. NB: Extensive knowledge of Top-tier spirits, cocktails and fine wines essential. The position requires an individual who is both highly articulate, immaculately presented and well groomed. Key duties will include: Service Standards: Define the quality benchmarks and expectations for customer interaction and delivery of the product or service. Guest Experience & Service Levels: Ensure guests receive excellent service, monitor customer satisfaction, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. Actively engage with guests to gather feedback on their dining experience and contribute to a positive restaurant image. Staff Training: Equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and meet business goals. Human Resources: Manages the personnel aspect of a business, including recruitment, compensation, performance, and employee relations. Controls: Establish checks and balances to ensure operations adhere to established policies, safeguard assets, and achieve organizational objectives. Operations Oversight: Manage the smooth daily flow of the dining room, coordinate reservations and seating, and supervise shifts. Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of dining areas and guest contact points, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. Financial & Administrative Tasks: Assist in balancing cash drawers, manage inventory for beverages and supplies, and review financial data to support profitability. Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen (back-of-house) and senior management to facilitate efficient communication and ensure operational alignment. Requirements: Highly Groomed and Eloquent Strong leadership and motivational abilities. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Financial acumen and the ability to manage operational costs. Extensive knowledge of food and premium luxury beverages. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, potentially high-stress environment. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and guests.
