Our client, a luxury coastal boutique hotel on KwaZulu-Natal's North Coast, is seeking an experienced and professional Front of House Manager to oversee guest services and daily front-of-house operations. The role calls for a confident leader with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for hospitality excellence.
Description
The Front of House Manager will ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless experience from arrival to departure. This position requires excellent communication, administrative, and leadership skills, along with the ability to manage reservations, coordinate departments, and maintain the highest service standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest relations.
• Supervise front-of-house staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
• Oversee billing, reservations, and administrative reporting.
• Work closely with F&B, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to ensure operational harmony.
• Ensure the reception area and public spaces are always immaculate and welcoming.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-3 years' experience as a Front of House or Duty Manager in a luxury property.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in hotel reservations and PMS systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a small team.
• Professional, polished, and guest-service driven.
• Live-out position - reliable transport essential.
