The main priority for the Front of House manager is the customer and consumer experience. They shape the overall guest experience.Key responsibilities:xc2xb7 Plan menus and manage food costs to agreed levelsxc2xb7 Drive the promotion and sales of destination offerings, experiences, and product.xc2xb7 Develop and implement initiatives to drive D2C revenue for the brand home.xc2xb7 Innovation and improvement results - continuously drive innovation ideas.xc2xb7 Manage day-to-day execution of the CRM strategy, drive database and wine club sign ups together with the brand team.xc2xb7 Ensure brand home total P&L target achieved.xc2xb7 Active involvement (together with the destination manager) in compiling and managing of Opex and CAPEX budgets, forecast and target setting.xc2xb7 Implementation of the Integrated Brand home consumer engagement plan.xc2xb7 Drive efficiencies and maintain operational excellence by Ensuring cost effective resources are utilized.xc2xb7 Strive to minimize stock and cash losses.xc2xb7 Managing, processing and dispatching of online wine orders and wine orders made in the tasting room that need to be shipped.xc2xb7 Creating STOs for weekly wine orders to ensure sufficient stock at the brand home to service the tasting room, the Olive Grove and the Tangram restaurant.xc2xb7 Control daily banking and cash floats; responsible for capturing and processing of the weekly sales, staff orders and promo liquor orders on SAP.xc2xb7 Responsible for general administration and procurement support.xc2xb7 Manage sourcing and purchasing of appropriate merchandise and food offerings.xc2xb7 Manage staff roster for service, kitchen and housekeeping staff for optimal service delivery and cost effectiveness.xc2xb7 Manage all aspects of the Durbanville Hills guest experience - Tasting Room and Olive Grove Bistro.xc2xb7 Responsible for Consumer and Corporate VIP satisfaction of the Brand Home experience.xc2xb7 Ensure customer/consumer service excellence at all times.xc2xb7 Responsible for training all FOH staff on service excellence, food and beverage management, sales skills.xc2xb7 Responsible for the management of staff and consumer experience to ensure a world class guest experience.Education & Experience:xc2xb7 A relevant Tourism, hospitality or eventing qualification.xc2xb7 Wine knowledge and qualification: CWA Certificate/WSET 2xc2xb7 Suitable Tourism, hospitality, or eventing experience.xc2xb7 Highly organised. Experience managing multiple priorities and changing environment.xc2xb7 Understanding of, and experience in the hospitality and events industry, preferably in a premium wine environment.xc2xb7 Proven track record delivering results against defined targets.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Pilot and CRM platforms.xc2xb7 Strong customer service and sales aptitude.The Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
