Job Description


Our client who is a property investment company is looking for a well-groomed, friendly Front Desk Clerk based in Middleburg, Mpumalanga to be responsible for welcoming guests, managing online and telephonic booking, and verifying guests' accounts are settled upon departure. This person should have a pleasant and professional disposition with guests and other hotel staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Check guests in and out.
  • Greet guests, make, and modify bookings, and maintain and update booking information on Opera.
  • Receive and manage reservations made online and telephonic.
  • Verify guests' payment methods during check-in.
  • Communication and hotel staff on the status of guest rooms.
  • Assign rooms to guests and inform them of any specials offered by the hotel.
  • Provide guests and inform them of any special offered by the hotel.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel.
  • Keep abreast of attractions that may be of interest to guests.
Requirements:
  • Post-High School Diploma in Hotel management and/or equivalent.
  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Experience with Opera
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-presented and professional appearance
  • Competency with Microsoft Office
Remuneration:
  • R5 000 xe2x80x93 R7 000 per month
