A boutique travel company specialising in tailor-made journeys across Southern and Eastern Africa for French-speaking travelers seeking authentic, inspiring, and immersive experiences is looking for an experienced French-Speaking Travel Consultant.
As a Travel Consultant, you will be at the heart of the client journey--combining sales expertise with creativity and destination knowledge to design exceptional trips.
Advise, inspire, and guide clients in creating bespoke itineraries across Southern & Eastern Africa
Design detailed, personalised travel proposals and accurate quotations
Manage the full booking lifecycle, including reservations, confirmations, and coordination with local suppliers
Deliver outstanding customer service from first enquiry through to post-travel follow-up
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and destination expertise
Requirements
Fluent French speaker (first language level)
Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, with strong sales capability
Solid knowledge of Southern and/or Eastern Africa and a genuine passion for the region
Clear understanding of the expectations and travel styles of the European French-speaking market (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, etc.)
Highly customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working independently and within a small, agile team
Confident using Google Workspace and CRM systems
