We're offering a 6-month maternity cover opportunity within our Operations team at OIA, a global logistics company. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in quoting, freight forwarding, customs coordination, and working with third-party partners to ensure smooth delivery across international borders.

You will be responsible for:

Researching and planning the most appropriate and cost-effective route for shipment You will negotiate contracts, transportation and handling costs. You will check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packaging specifications, and compliance with overseas countries' regulations and fiscal regimes You will liaise with and manage third parties in accordance with customer requirements You will arrange insurance and assist the client in the event of a claim You will communicate with the customer, maintain visibility and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports, statistical and unit cost analyst Your will complete customs formalities or sub-contracting services You will provide quotations to existing clients/ new clients and agents You will help and support local business development opportunities

What we need from you:

Previous experience in the freight forwarding industry Fluent in both written and spoken English A high level of energy with a "can-do" positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit Eligibility to work in the country in which you are employed is essential
