Read more at www.dsv.comWe are currently recruiting for a Freight Forwarder, Air Export, Sky Services (62354) to join our dynamic team in OR Tambo, Cargo Section.Main Purpose of The Role:Completion of all export / import documents as prescribed by relevant local and international authorities.Communication with clients, airlines, and all relevant departments.Airline reservations and bookings Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcessing / issuing of all export documentation: AWB, SAD, Phytosanitary certificate, PPECB, COOxe2x80x99s, etc.Airline bookings as per rate agreementsLiaising with clients via e-mail, and telephonicallyMaintaining of bookings listsDaily tracking of shipmentsUpdating clients on status of shipmentsDaily shipment / warehouse planningLiaising with warehouse regarding deliveries / collectionsSARS acquittalsDesired Experience & QualificationMinimum requirements:MatricMinimum of 1-2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in air freight exports and / or imports.General understanding of industry and related job requirements for freight forwarding.Ability to liaise effectively with clients and airlines, both telephonically and via e-mail.Processing of export related documents, i.e., AWB, SAD500, EUR1, SADCSkills/Competencies:Good communication skills, both verbally and writtenOwnership and self-motivation, to ensure any challenge is addressed immediately and resolved as soonpossible.Having all round understanding of the airfreight function to ensure solutions can be provided in a timely manner.Ability to work under pressure.Positive outlook and team playerWillingness to learn and adaptable to change.Results, quality and detail driven.General knowledge of available airlines and applicable routesSelf-confident and resilient.Computer LiteracyCargoWise understanding and previous experience would be beneficialExcel / Word intermediate knowledgeStrong Windows / Office / Outlook understanding and competencyPackage & RemunerationMarket relatedDisclaimerDue to the high volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Should an external candidate not hear from us within four (4) weeks following their application, they should consider their application unsuccessful.
