Job Title: Freelance Short-Term Insurance TrainerLocation: On-site (as required by client)Contract Type: Freelance and Short-Term ContractIndustry: Insurance TrainingDuration: Project-Based (with potential for ongoing work)About the Role:We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Freelance Short-Term Insurance Trainer to deliver training on a variety of insurance products using client-provided content. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance principles and products, with a particular focus on short-term insurance. This role involves facilitating engaging, interactive training sessions for professionals across the insurance industry, ensuring learners gain practical knowledge and are equipped to deliver exceptional service and advice to clients.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive training sessions using the clients training material.
• Facilitate training in the following key product areas:

• Short-Term (General) Insurance:

• Car Insurance: Comprehensive, Third-Party Fire & Theft, Third-Party Only
• Home Insurance: Building Insurance, Household Contents Insurance
• Business & Commercial Insurance: Business Interruption, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Cyber Insurance
• Marine Insurance: Marine Cargo and Hull Insurance
• Reinsurance: Basic concepts and application
• May also be required to train on:

• Life Insurance: Term Life, Whole Life, Endowment, Funeral Cover
• Health & Medical Aid Insurance: Medical Aid Schemes, Gap Cover
• Disability & Long-Term Care Insurance
• Adapt delivery style to suit diverse learner audiences.
• Conduct training sessions online and/or in person, as required.
• Provide learner support and respond to queries pre- and post-training.
• Assess learner understanding through feedback tools or knowledge checks (as applicable).
• Report training attendance and outcomes to the client, if required.

• Minimum 35 years experience in the short-term insurance industry.
• Proven experience in training, facilitation, or coaching within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Excellent knowledge of insurance products and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with FAIS, FICA, and other relevant industry compliance standards.
• Comfortable delivering training using digital platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet).
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage training timelines.
• Professional accreditation or facilitation certification is advantageous.
