Altwork is seeking a versatile and creative

Photographer / Videographer

to support our media and communications output across the organisation. This freelance role will involve capturing high-quality photos and videos for key events, staff profiles, insight documentaries, social media content, and general promotional use.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, bring creative ideas, and deliver polished, professional content aligned with our brand image. This role is ideal for a talented graduate or intermediate-level creative professional building a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Capture high-quality photos and videos at company events, staff days, training sessions, and management meetings. Produce short-form content for social media including reels, behind-the-scenes footage, and day-in-the-life clips. Film and edit staff profile videos and take professional headshots for internal and external communications. Create documentary-style recordings for Altwork programmes (e.g., Intern Leadership Programme, "Day in the Life of an Intern"). Edit and deliver polished media assets in the required format and resolution. Maintain an organised archive of photographs and video material, labelled and stored systematically. Work closely with the Social Media Lead and Communications team to plan content and schedule shoots. Suggest creative concepts, storyboards, and ideas to enhance Altwork's brand presence.

Requirements

Proven experience in photography / videography (portfolio required). Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools. Ability to shoot in various environments (office, outdoor, events, interviews). Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and audio capture. Reliable, organised, and able to deliver content within agreed deadlines. Good communication skills and comfortable filming in team settings.

Equipment:

Ideally the freelancer should have some of thier own essential equipment (camera, lenses). Altwork can provide additional equipment when needed (e.g., video camera, tripod, microphones).

Working Arrangement

Freelance, on an as-needed basis (hours dependent on project demand). Work will be scheduled in advance for planned events, with flexibility required for occasional short-notice shoots.
