Eduvos is looking to employ an Academic Content Writer/Developer, with specialisation in Commerce within the subject areas of Contemporary Management, and Business Management, to be based at any of our National Eduvos campuses.
Type of role:
Independent Contractor (Freelance)
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is to design and develop a Master's-level module titled Contemporary Management for delivery within the Master of Commerce in Business Management programme.
The module addresses complex and evolving management challenges in contemporary organisations and aims to develop students' ability to critically analyse, compare, and apply modern management approaches to enhance organisational performance, employee engagement, and strategic effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualifications required:
Masters degree or higher in:

  • Business Management
  • Management Studies
  • Leadership
  • Commerce or a related discipline
Minimum experience required:
  • At least two to three years' experience of lecturing and / or developing study materials in the Higher Education sector.
  • Experience in creating interactive content on a learner management system (LMS) (Moodle) is highly preferable.
  • Experience in setting assessments on various NQF levels.
  • Industry experience will be highly advantageous
  • Publishing of academic journals will be advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
As an Academic Content Writer, you would be responsible for the following:
  • Develop a Master's-level module aligned to NQF Level 9 expectations
  • Design learning content enabling students to:
  • Critically analyse contemporary management approaches
  • Compare and construct managerial responses to organisational challenges
  • Evaluate managerial practices that enhance motivation, engagement, and performance
